Thaler - A replacement for barf
Our thalers are standardized and all come with the same amount. The weight also remains approximately the same at 9.5g in freeze-dried condition. The diameter is about 5cm and the height about 1.5cm.
The thalers are ideal when the freeze-dried is used as a BARF feed substitute.
Due to the simple portioning, the daily requirement of the dog can be easily converted and the actual weight of fresh meat in the head can be estimated. This makes it very easy to ensure that dogs are not overfed or underfed. We recommend that you enter a small conversion table or factor for the specific product on the label.
When soaking meat thalers, make sure that they take a little longer to be completely saturated with water than the cubes or our piece goods. The soaking time is approximately 3-5 minutes.
We recommend the thalers above all for BARFing in dogs. The smaller pieces or cubes are much more popular with cats than the thalers. The product used is the same, but the slightly larger form factor is probably more pleasant for dogs than for cats.
As usual with fresh meat, the amount of fresh meat depends on the activity, age, breed and possibly also special characteristics of the dog. The values may differ here. Our example table is a first clue how the conversion can look like.
In addition, depending on your needs, the talers can also add various other products to individual product productions. For example herbs, fruit, vegetables or various meat mixes. There are no limits to your creativity. You can also choose freely whether pieces, minced or the ingredients completely in the taler. Depending on the outgoing goods, the price can vary quite considerably in some cases.
