In contract freeze-drying, it always depends on the type of product and to what extent we need to pre-process it.
Due to the sometimes highly fluctuating humidity of each product, it is necessary to carry out an individual price calculation for each product, since the amount of energy used also varies greatly. In relation to the ratio between the starting quantity and the final quantity, it is also very different how many kilos of fresh are left after freeze-drying.

When freeze-drying, it is important that the desired product is frozen first. This then enters the plant frozen and the water in the frozen state is extracted directly in gaseous form.
If we need refrigerated storage, we have to deep freeze it before the actual freeze-drying process. This is possible at any time. However, we have to add a surcharge
based on the high amounts of energy required by a shock freezer.
